Modern vehicle fueling centers employ new technologies for management of fuel inventories including the storage, monitoring and prevention of fuel releases to the atmosphere and subsurface areas. These are designed, in part, to assure compliance with environmental requirements as well as the concerns of insurers and lenders. EMI's project management of Environmental Site Assessment Process can address some or all of these areas of potential environmental concern at the pre-acquisition, insurance/lending disclosure, or responsible environmental agency inspection stages. Competency, training, and professional licensing in all of these technical areas is required which distinguishes EMI from other firms.
